Correct scarce 19th century temple toggle harpoon. This iron is a lighter version of a temple harpoon. The toggle head is constucted as a temple head should be. Cone correct. Used condition as expected, bends and slight pitting head moves freely. Head marked BP and unclear name on reverse. Look at the head, a true temple harpoon has curved cut swivel. Compare it to a standard toggle harpoon which doesn't. See standard harpoons on this site. Temple harpoons are hard to find these days. Approx. L 36" item wh1800
